    Question

Ok I saw this on another thread here today, but here it goes. When shifting at the top or near 6k in any gear, my fuel mixture goes dead LEAN and the car shudders and bogs and then goes to normal operating range again. The fuel set-up consists of the Cartech 2005 unit, 310 injectors, and the B&M command flo piece. Fuel pump is the Walbro high pressure unit. Idle fuel pressure is around 25ish with a fuel pressure guage affixed to the top of the fuel filter. Any ideas? Is the diaphrapm inside the regulator sticking? Any ideas or tips? The problem occurs sporadicaly but is annoying.

    Thanks
    Mac

I wonder if this is related to the problems I'm having too. How can I check my TPS? And do I have to swap the whole TB to fix it?

If this is what's going on I will do ANYTHING to fix it.

You need a multimeter and a Helm manual to check the TPS. You just verify that the voltage rises as it should at various throttle positions. The Helm tells how.

    Sim...

I have been experiencing some of the same "stutter" problems that you have. My A/F gauge showed some of the same symptoms.

It turns out that I had a failing TPS... not so bad that a code would be thrown, but the voltage was bouncing spuratically at any given rpm and throttle position... this confused the ECU and it was trying to manipulate the injector duty cycle based on the Delta changes in the throttle position (which really was NOT changing).

Long story short... I swapped out the T/B and all of my stuttering disappeared. The fuel pressures were RIGHT ON THE MONEY.
